Jen is a physiotherapist and the proud owner of Mahogany Physiotherapy & Massage. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and went on to complete her Masters in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in Kingston. She has been a practicing physiotherapist since 2006 and was the clinic director for a large company in Calgary. She is passionate about helping people get better and improve their quality of life. She believes in personalized, hands-on treatment and education as opposed to only machine based treatment.
Jen cares about her patients. This is reflected in each treatment and experience with her. She has completed Level 3 in Manual Therapy and is certified in acupuncture and hip rehabilitation. Jen has completed the Diagnostic Imaging course through the University of Alberta and has completed post graduate courses for the foot and hips as well as myofascial release.
She enjoys skiing, hiking and is an avid runner having completed many half marathons over the years. She is a proud mother and loves spending time with her husband and children when she’s not helping people get better.

MVA (motor vehicle accident) assessments are for anyone who's been involved in a car accident in Alberta within 90 days of the date of injury. Our physiotherapist will take a detailed history and perform an in depth analysis of your injury. The initial assessment takes approximately 60 minutes and includes a short treatment. They will fill out the proper paperwork that your auto insurance requires. Please note in notes section of your booking if your injury is the result of a car accident.

Your follow up treatments after having a Motor Vehicle Assessment are approximately 30 minutes and will include any or all of the following: manual therapy (hands on treatment), acupuncture or dry needling, education, exercise prescription, and modalities such as heat, IFC etc.
Acupuncture treatment only for any muscle or joint pain. Performed by trained physiotherapist and billed under physiotherapy as it is a physiotherapist performing this treatment. *MUST BOOK FOR A PHYSIO ASSESSMENT FIRST

Shockwave Therapy (acoustic pressure wave, not electric shock), is a safe, and effective treatment approach for a wide range of medical conditions. It stimulates healing & breaks down scar tissue & is very effective for those chronic issues like tendonitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis etc. We combine our shockwave treatment with a manual therapy physiotherapy treatment for maximum effectiveness and resolve the biomechanical issues that caused the injury to prevent it from returning.
