Jennifer completed her osteopathic manual therapy studies and research with the Canadian College of Osteopathy, a 5 year academic and thesis ( 1-2 years) program. Her research thesis was titled, “The Effects of General Osteopathic Treatment on Patients with Post Concussions Syndrome." Jennifer was the recipient of the William Garner Sutherland award for her clinical research.

Deep Manual Therapy- Tui-na manual therapy, in Chinese medicine involves the manipulation of soft tissues, bones, and joints through various techniques using the hands or assistive devices. Tui-na therapy resolves structural and functional issues, relieving pain and improving mobility. Its primary benefit lies in correcting skeletal misalignment, often caused by poor posture that leads to uneven weight distribution in the body. Temporary pain or discomfort may be experienced during and after spinal correction due to realignment of soft tissues. Pain during treatment must be expressed to your practitioner to ensure they are working within your allowable range of motion and pain tolerance. Acupuncture utilizes acupuncture needles on the established 12 meridians, which have long been recognized for their role in maintaining the body’s balance, to address painful areas, musculoskeletal issues, nerves, and internal organs simultaneously. Osteopathic manual therapy therapy initial appointment For first time clients: after booking your initial assessment it is recommended to book a follow up appointment 1-2 weeks later. This appointment can be cancelled if no longer needed.
