I see Illness is a message, a wake up call. The body’s ability to heal is amazing, especially when we listen to it. As a child I learned the value of listening to the body’s wisdom, and now practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) feels like coming home.
Offering acupuncture in a gentle, intuitive way, my priority is your comfort and holding a safe healing space to help connect you to your own innate healing power. I love empowering patients with home care, lifestyle and TCM diet therapy, and meditation and Dalian Method resources.
Having studied Acupuncture and TCM Herbology at ICTCMV, I have also completed numerous continuing education courses in my field, including advanced training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture with Michelle Gellis and have ongoing TCM Herbalist mentor-ship from Elaine Li.
In addition to TCM studies, working under Master Healer Mada Dalian for over 10 years has been life changing, bringing a deeper awareness of the pivotal role repressed emotions play in our health, and the importance of addressing the mind, body, and spirit to truly heal and become more conscious.
When not in clinic I enjoy hiking and exploring coastal trails, meditating, gathering like minded people, spending time with loved ones, and adoring Ava, our 10 year old rabbit.

Gentle glass suction cupping, and light Gua Sha (using a sleek jade tool) smooths away stress, fine lines and fatigue, decreases puffiness, and enhances the radiance of the complexion. This treatment also includes cupping on the neck, shoulders and back for improved circulation and deep relaxation. *this treatment does not include acupuncture and is not covered under most extended health plans
Facial acupuncture illuminates your glow, working from the inside out and from the outside in. It promotes the production of collagen, eases fine lines, increases facial tone, decreases puffiness around the eyes, and enhances the radiance of the complexion. I have completed Advanced Facial Acupuncture training with Michelle Gellis, a leader in this field. This luxurious treatment includes microscopic facial needles, whole body acupuncture, gentle glass suction cupping, and light gua sha (using a sleek jade tool) to smooth away stress and fatigue and bring your best face forward. This gentle effective practice takes time and consistency as it is not an aggressive medical procedure, and instead works with your body’s innate healing ability. You can immediately see a nice glow, however around 8 weekly treatments is ideal to see deeper improvements, and then if desired can be maintained with treatments every 6 to 12 weeks to keep your skin glowing, smooth, and refreshed.
We will do a detailed intake to fully understand your constitution, what imbalances there may be, and what you would like your treatment focus to be. Then you will get to experience acupuncture! An acupuncture session can be very relaxing. Acupuncture activates your bodies innate ability to heal. By switching your nervous system from fight or flight to rest and digest, your body can do what it does so well, return to balance and heal. If you think of a river that has a dam, it gets stuck and stagnate. Acupuncture helps energy freely circulate through the body. When the energy (qi) and blood move freely we are healthy, when there is a blockage that is when we get pain and illness. We use tiny single use needles, (the size of a human hair). You may feel heaviness, warmth, tingling, numbness, but you will likely forget most of the needles are there, and you may drift into that lovely between-wake-and-sleep state.
