Jenny Harrison
Jenny has worked in mental health for over 10 years. After experiencing the ups and downs of the transition to parenthood in her own life, she was drawn to help others through perinatal care. Jenny feels incredibly grateful to be able to support individuals and couples before, during, and after this transition, as they gain confidence and tools.
With much training, including training in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, Jenny loves working with both couples and individuals. Jenny particularly enjoys supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, burnout, and parenting concerns, as well as couples wanting to strengthen their communication. When it comes to her practice, she is gentle, empathetic, and strengths based.
Jenny loves eating spaghetti bolognese or a poke bowl with family and good friends.

When you come in, you will first notice a comfortable couch underneath a skylight. There are no motivational posters on the walls, no long forms, tick boxes or pamphlets, just a warm space to unload and be understood, knowing that the person sitting across from you can hold what you need to say. Starting a conversation that has the potential to shift things.

Walk & Talk Therapy offers the opportunity to continue your counselling session while walking outdoors at a comfortable pace. Meeting at Moss Postpartum House, you'll connect with your therapist before heading out together for your session. Many clients find that being outside and moving gently can make conversations feel more natural, grounding, and less formal. This appointment is available for returning counselling clients only. Your therapist will discuss whether Walk & Talk Therapy is an appropriate option for your goals and the day's weather and walking conditions. If conditions are not suitable, your session may be moved indoors. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather, and arrive at Moss a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
