Jess is the owner of Cape Shore Health and is the only Manual Osteopath on Cape Breton Island. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from STFX (2014), a diploma in occupational therapy and physiotherapy assistance from NSCC (2017) and most recently a diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto (2019).
Jess assesses a patient’s entire body to determine what is causing the dysfunction or pain. She then treats the main cause in order to realign the body to provide relief and resolve the issue.
When she’s not making a difference with her osteopathy treatments, Jess can be found spending time with her friends and family and loves hanging out with her two energetic border collies, Duke and Rye. She admittedly can’t live without her phone and has an rather profound favorite quote – Maturity is realizing how many things don’t require your comment.
