Acupuncture is an ancient, Traditional Chinese Medicine that is dated back over three thousand years in China. Acupuncture stimulates the release of endorphins – the body’s natural pain-relieving neurohormones – through the insertion of fine needles into specific anatomical points (acupuncture points) to encourage natural healing. An assessment and intake form will be filled out with the acupuncturist, including specific questions and details of the patient's health. This will be incorporated with the appointment.

This can increase grounding, inducing relaxation allowing you to connect to your inner-self. This session can be billed under acupuncture insurance once payment has been received. Elemental breath-work involves conscious breathing techniques that connect individuals with the energies of the four primary elements of nature: air, fire, water, and earth. Each element embodies unique qualities and energies that can enhance personal growth and healing. This practice is rooted in various spiritual traditions It involves rhythmic breathing and specifically designed breath holds and exhalations to shift one's physical, mental and emotional state. There will be a guided demonstration and practice at the start of class and everything will be explained in the opening talk. Slow deep breathing techniques with longer exhales than inhales is the quickest way to signal the brain that the body is safe, effectively "switching off" the fight-or-flight response.
