Jessica is a graduate of the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto and holds an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Queen’s University. She is committed to lifelong learning and has pursued postgraduate training in pelvic health, completing Level 1 and 2 certifications in incontinence and pelvic pain.
Her passion for pelvic health physiotherapy stems from her own personal experience with pelvic pain, where she recognized the profound impact physiotherapy can have on both physical and emotional well-being. During her clinical internship at Markham Pelvic Health, Jessica gained extensive experience treating a wide range of pelvic health concerns, including pregnancy-related conditions, incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and more.
Jessica takes a patient-centered approach to care, focusing on goals that are meaningful to each individual. She excels at building strong therapeutic relationships and integrates her background working with the geriatric population and individuals recovering from injury to provide holistic, compassionate care.
Beyond her clinical work, Jessica is an active member of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association, serving on the York Region and Scarborough District board, where she advocates for accessible and inclusive care within her community.
Outside the clinic, Jessica enjoys staying active at the gym, exploring nature, experimenting with new vegan recipes, and unwinding with a good thriller novel.
