Jessie has always experienced a strong connection to energy and the natural world, this deepening curiosity has developed into a passion for healing. At the age of 20, after several years of practicing yoga and meditation, Jessie began her training in qigong (Chinese energy work) under the mentorship of Sifu Justin Ngui, 24th generation in the Ngui family lineage. After three years of practicing qigong and using it to heal animals, she began to study acupuncture. Jessie graduated from Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine in 2017 and has been working in a clinic as an acupuncturist (R.Ac.) ever since.
She treats a wide range of conditions including but not limited to anxiety, gastrointestinal diseases, woman's health, allergies, physical pain, and sports injuries. She uses the principles of qigong in her practice, looking at each patient holistically to locate the root of their ailment, initiating healing from a deeper level. She is passionate about empowering people to use energy as a means to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Jessie has an Honours BA from York University in the Humanities, is certified as a Level I and Level II Yoga Teacher with Paola Di Paolo of Four Directions Yoga, is trained as a Birth Doula and carries a Diploma of Acupuncture from Eight Branches Academy Of Eastern Medicine.

For current patients - follow up acupuncture treatment
This treatment is required if you have not previously been assessed by Lori. Acupuncture is used within the scope of chiropractic to treat mechanical pain such as muscle or joint pain, headaches, and neurological conditions such as sciatica or pinched nerves.
Book this appointment if you have never seen Jessie before. Initial consultation, intake, diagnosis, treatment planning and your first acupuncture treatment are all included.
