With over twenty years of experience, Jill has rehabilitated clients from the mountains of the North Shore to the deserts of Kuwait. She considers herself fortunate to be working and living in Lynn Valley. Jill is a double graduate of the University of British Columbia, with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics to compliment her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Since her time at UBC, she has continued her education through a variety of specialized courses including the Discover Physio series, postgraduate orthopedic manual therapy and FITforeGOLF levels one and two. Jill has further expanded her skill set to include TMJ temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) rehabilitation.
Jill incorporates manual therapy, education and exercise prescription to create individualized programs for her clients. Jill's interest in sports orthopedics stems from the wide range of activities in which she has and/or continues to participate. Her primary Varsity sport was women's ice hockey, but she also competed under the UBC colours for rowing, volleyball, cross-country skiing and ultimate Frisbee at a club or Jr. Varsity level. Formerly a member of and trainer for the Canadian National Women's Ultimate Team, Jill continues to dabble in the sport as a recreational player. Furthermore, she was the physiotherapist for the Canadian National Ultimate Team at the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung. When not chasing or chauffeurring her kids around, Jill tries to squeeze in trail running, mountain biking, flag football, hockey, pickleball or cross country skiing.
