Hi I'm Jiyoon, a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
I chose massage therapy because I believe people should be able to live with less pain, and continue doing what they enjoy. I'm fascinated by how the human body functions and adapts, and I bring that curiosity into my clinical approach.
My goal is to help reduce discomfort, improve movement, and support the body in returning to a more balanced regulated state, so you can get back to the activities that matter to you.
While relaxation is an important part of treatment, I focus on helping patients understand and manage their pain incorporated with assessment, targeted treatment, and realistic home care education so you can build awareness of your body and continue improving outside of each session.
My approach may include techniques such as Myofascial release, Swedish massage, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization(IASTM), dynamic stretching, and neuromuscular techniques to reduce muscle tension and improve movement.

Please note that this treatment is exclusively available to female patients and is provided solely by female therapists. This therapeutic treatment focuses on the anterior thoracic region, incorporating manual techniques rooted in traditional Chinese meridian theory. The goal is to reduce muscular and fascial restrictions, promote lymphatic circulation, and support functional tissue mobility around the chest, shoulders, and upper abdomen. The treatment includes gentle myofascial and lymphatic release of the chest and pectoral region, as well as soft tissue mobilization of surrounding areas to improve posture and reduce restriction. Techniques are used to relieve tension commonly associated with postural strain, hormonal fluctuations, or post-surgical adhesions. Natural botanical oils may be applied for tissue nourishment, with client consent.
