Jocelyn graduated from the 3000 hour program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2009 and has been practicing at Kitsilano Massage Therapy and Health since. Her goal in treatments is to provide individualized care to assist and educate clients in their rehabilitation, maintenance or relaxation. Jocelyn incorporates swedish techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, active and passive movements, joint mobilization, and deep tissue work into her treatments. Jocelyn has a special interest in pre and postnatal massage and has taken many continuing education courses including, but not limited to: prenatal massage, clinical orthopaedic manual therapy, end range loading, ligamentous articular strain, chronic pain management and muscle energy techniques. Having played numerous sports her whole life, she has in depth knowledge of sport related injuries and rehabilitation.

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive, manual therapy technique. Using light touch, CST helps to relieve tension around the body's connective tissue network (fascia). This treatment is very relaxing and may help to relieve pain and bring an overall sense of wellbeing and balance to systems of the body. Patients can expect to feel calm and sleepy after this treatment.

Massage Therapy Treatment to address conditions and symptoms related to the pelvis and lower abdomen. Treatment may be indicated for patients experiencing dysmenorrhea (painful periods), menstrual dysfunction, C- section scarring and post abdominal surgery scars, Endometriosis, UTI's, interstitial Cystitis, PCOS and other pelvic inflammatory conditions. This treatment considers pelvic alignment along with the use of visceral massage and fascial release to the uterus and the bladder via the lower abdomen, externally. Other modalities that may be used are, Craniosacral Therapy, Joint Manipulation and the treatment of Muscles, tendons and ligaments of the lumbar area, gluteal and hip regions. This is a gentle and slow treatment that uses an open line of communication and ongoing consent between Patient and Therapist.
