Using technology traditionally only used on professional and Olympic athletes, Pure goes significantly further in providing our clients with a movement screen that identifies pattern, capacity, and skill problems. Our movement screen was established using a collaborative approach with input from many disciplines allowing us to analyze the data to understand its clinical significance. Gone are the days of guessing. By precisely measuring these movement characteristics, we are able to make targeted programming/referral decisions with the goal of optimal movement.
Start your training with purpose. This 60-minute session includes a full movement screen, ForceDecks testing for objective strength and power analysis, and a detailed discussion of your goals. We use the results to design a personalized training plan tailored to your lifestyle, experience, and performance needs.
VO2 max, or aerobic capacity, is known as your cardiopulmonary capacity. It’s a measurement of the maximum oxygen your body can consume during an incremental exercise test. In asymptomatic individuals, this test is the criterion measure for cardiopulmonary capacity. A V02 max test is one of the greatest predictors of overall health and longevity. ***Our base VO2 testing is completed on a treadmill only. For information on bike VO2s, please contact us directly at diagnostics@purewinnipeg.com.
Upgrade your Vo2 max assessment to the same test that professional athletes use! Define your training zones by identifying your anaerobic threshold in addition to discovering your Max HR and VO2. This upgrade includes the addition of sophisticated sensors that assess live time muscle oxygenation which allows our expert team to identify your anaerobic threshold. This marker is used by many athletes to anchor their training prescriptions. This test can be executed on either a treadmill (running) or a smart trainer (cycling*) based on your sport needs. *your own bike is required for the bike test
