Johana is a registered acupuncturist and a member of the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta. She graduated from the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Previously Johana was a medical doctor in Argentina specializing in imaging diagnostic radiology.
Johana is excited to share her experience and knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine by providing acupuncture treatment, electro-acupuncture, cupping, dermal needling and acupressure. Johana combines traditional Chinese medicine with western to provide the best diagnosis of symptoms and signs. Her treatments not only alleviate symptoms but target the root cause and brings balance to the body.
TCM helps treat pain management, sport injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, sleeping disorders, headache and migraines, anxiety and depression, digestive issues, hyper-blood pressure and diabetes, common colds, asthma and other respiratory conditions, menstruation disorders, infertility, and urinary issues.
Johana speaks fluent Spanish and Korean. In her free time, Johana enjoys spending time with her family, and travelling.
