Joy graduated from University of Alberta with distinction in 1981, working first in Regina, Saskatchewan and then Victoria, British Columbia before returning to Alberta in 1989. I have worked throughout the Lakeland since that time, moving to St Paul in 1994. I chose physiotherapy because of an interest in Sports Physiotherapy. While having had the pleasure of working with numerous teams over the years and covering events from the provincial to international stage as part of the medical team, I am equally proud of the years spent with a specialized geriatric rehabilitation team. I have obtained my certification in both acupuncture and trigger point dry needling.

A follow up treatment with the Physiotherapist for more than 1 body part.
The assessment includes detailed history taking followed by the objective physical examination by your physiotherapist. The physiotherapist will discuss about the Dry Needling combined with physiotherapy treatment and its outcomes. Your initial visit includes assessment as well as treatment and would take 45-60 minutes. Our clinic use only single use, disposable needles for the treatments.
This is the follow up treatment after your initial assessment. Your therapist will continue to work on reducing the symptoms and achieving your therapeutic goals.The duration of treatment is 45 minutes.
The Assessment includes detailed history taking followed by the objective physical examination by your Physiotherapist. The Physiotherapist will develop a treatment plan for you after the evaluation. Your initial visit includes Assessment as well as a Treatment.
This is the follow up treatment after your initial assessment. Your therapist may provide you with an exercise program, perform manual therapy techniques, use modalities and discuss your concerns and progress.
