My friends would probably describe me as a curious black cat. I’ve always been fascinated by the human condition and the deep dark secrets of the universe. Before graduating with honours from Sutherland-Chan for Massage Therapy, those curiosities originally led me to pursue Psychology at the University of Guelph. As a fresh grad in a pandemic, unsure of where I wanted to go in life but knowing that my mission was to help other humans, I found Massage Therapy. Helping others through touch has always been an instinct, just ask my mom who I’ve given many a foot rub although not as many as she deserves. It wasn't until I began studying the body that I realized how truly connected the mind and body are, and that maybe my degree wasn’t a total waste.

Don’t worry I promise not to psychoanalyze you, instead I’ll put that energy into making your time with me feel as safe, calm and supportive as possible. Pregnancy is a time of transition, and while my goal is to help treat your body's physical changes I will also strive to help support you with whatever mental transitions you are facing by providing a non-judgmental space for you to be yourself and have a chance for an hour of calm and relaxation.
I know first hand the impacts that injury, hypermobility or pain can have on our quality of life but I also know the impacts that anxiety and depression can have on our bodies and so my approach will always be to treat you as a whole person and to give you the care, kindness and attention that you deserve.
When I’m not working you’ll find me curled up watching movies or in the car listening to music, but fair warning… If you get stuck next to me at a red light I apologize for my obnoxious singing and dance moves in advance.

Please contact Victoria directly at victoria@guelphprenatalmassage.com if treatment is not available in the schedule within 24 hours of symptoms appearing. This treatment is for those suffering with breast inflammation and pain due to blocked ducts or suspected mastitis. During this treatment we will do ultrasound on the affected breast to decrease inflammation and help speed healing. You will leave with a home care plan including self lymphatic massage to help continuing to clear symptoms. Taping of the breast is also an option when ending the treatment depending on the severity to encourage lymph drainage.
Registered Massage Therapy for babies and infants.
Therapeutic massage therapy for infants under 6 months. Concerns that can be treated are: -Gas / 'Colic' -Head turning or breast preference -Torticolis -Plagiocephaly (Flat Head) -Constipation -Breastfeeding pain / dysfunction -Dripping at bottle -Struggling with solids -Hating tummy time -Missed milestones Treatment includes intake discussion, full body assessment (including oral function) and hands on treatment including massage, stretches and play. Follow up appointments for infants who have been seen in an initial appointment or during a lactation consult already. Assess changes, discuss challenges of home treatment plan, and continue with massage therapy manual treatment.

INITIAL APPOINTMENT FOR SCAR RELEASE. MPS Scar Release Therapy (Dolphin Neurostim) is a highly effective and pain free way to treat all kinds of scars including cesarean, mastectomy, and top surgery scars. This labour prep session will look at your body as a whole and include hands on massage and stretching techniques to help you prepare, body and mind, for the birth of your baby.
