SaveHaving completed two years of intensive theoretical and clinical training, coupled with an array of volunteer outreaches, Julia completed her advanced Massage Therapy diploma at Mohawk College with Honours. She has had experience treating a variety of populations from those suffering from chronic pain conditions, hospice residents and staff, retirees, casual and professional athletes, to those just looking to de-stress from life. She is trained in Swedish massage, Joint Mobilization, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release Techniques, PNF Stretching and Remedial Exercise. She adapts her skills within each unique treatment based on the client’s needs and comfort level, whether that be a deep tissue massage or a light touch.
