Julia grew up playing competitive soccer and volleyball and was no stranger to injuries. She
became inspired to pursue the profession after working closely with her physiotherapists. She
graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education in
Physical Literacy and completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of
Alberta.
Julia has experience working with a variety of populations including, infants and children,
athletes, older adults, complex polytrauma patients and individuals with neurological conditions.
Julia enjoys treating all ages and abilities and has a special interest in working with pediatric
clients. She is a Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) service provider.
Julia takes a client centered approach with her treatments, incorporating individualized exercise
prescription, manual therapy, joint mobilizations and dry needling. She utilizes the latest research and provides education while ensuring the client’s goals are at the forefront of any treatment.
Julia has taken additional training and is certified in Functional Dry Needling/Intramuscular Stimulation, Trauma-Informed Care and Concussion: prevention, detection and management.
In her spare time, Julia enjoys spending time with friends and family, going for walks with her
puppy, working out, gardening and baking.

During this visit, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment that may include testing with infrared goggles to understand the source of your symptoms, and we will begin personalized treatment and rehabilitative exercises to help you feel your best.
