Julie has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2012 and began her career working in multidisciplinary clinics across the Lower Mainland, collaborating with physiotherapists, kinesiologists, chiropractors, and other RMTs. These early experiences shaped her integrative, client-centered approach.
Her treatments blend relaxation and therapeutic techniques, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, deep tissue therapy, ischemic compressions, joint mobilizations, and targeted stretching. She supports clients with a wide range of conditions such as headaches, postural imbalances, overuse injuries, tendonitis, nerve impingements, sports injuries, sprains, whiplash, disc issues, chronic pain, pregnancy-related discomforts, TMJ dysfunction, scoliosis, scar-tissue restrictions, and stress or anxiety.
Julie has a strong focus on scar tissue and injury rehabilitation. Even when a scar looks small—or when an injury leaves no visible mark—the deeper layers can form restrictive adhesions through fascia, muscle, and sometimes along nerve pathways. This can affect movement, sensation, posture, and overall comfort. Through gentle, skilled treatment, Julie helps soften adhesions, restore mobility, reduce pain, and support both physical and emotional healing around old or new scars and injuries.
As both an RMT and a breast cancer survivor (double mastectomy with lymph node removal), Julie brings personal insight and deep empathy to her work. She understands how challenging recovery can feel and guides clients through each stage with compassion, knowledge, and encouragement.
Her goal is to help clients reconnect with their bodies, reduce pain, improve function, and move forward with greater ease and confidence.
Outside of the clinic, Julie enjoys hiking, beachcombing, mushroom foraging, nature photography, crafting, thrift hunting, and relaxing with her senior cat.
