Hi! My name is Julie, and I am a dedicated Registered Clinical Counsellor with a passion for helping individuals in their journey towards self-discover, healing and growth. Originating from Singapore, I made the transition to British Columbia in 2014, bringing with me a wealth of multicultural experiences and perspectives.
Growing up in a diverse, multicultural, and multi-religious community; and having resided in various regions spanning Asia, Europe and now Canada, I have cultivated a deep appreciation for the intricacies of human diversity. These experiences have equipped me with a profound understanding of the challenges inherent in forging new beginnings and adapting to unfamiliar environments, having encountered firsthand the complexities of immigration and the associated feelings of grief and loss.
My Therapeutic approach is firmly rooted in client-centered principles, fostering an environment of trust, empathy, and non-judgment. My aim is to provide a safe haven where clients feel empowered to explore their inner strengths and confront their obstacles with resilience and determination.
I warmly welcome adult clients seeking support and guidance on their personal journeys, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to accompany you on your path to healing and self-discovery.
