Growing up in Tottenham, Julie was involved in all things sports, particularly soccer and wrestling. Julie played soccer for the Barrie soccer club and wrestled for Kempenfelt Bay athletics. Julie was successful on the provincial, and national wrestling stage throughout her high school and university career. She was also able to represent Canada Wrestling at the world championships, and several other international competitions. However with a lifetime of sports, inevitably comes injuries. Two ACL surgeries and a laundry list of other injuries later, Julie was inspired by her team’s healthcare staff to also pursue a career in the field.
Julie attended Western University, obtaining her bachelors of Kinesiology in 2019. Then went to Brock University to complete a Masters of Professional Kinesiology in 2020. After working for a year as a Registered Kinesiologist, she decided to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College in Florida. Julie graduated cum laude in March 2025 from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida.
Julie enjoys patient interactions above all else and being able to personally connect with patients. Meeting patients where they are in their health journey and facilitating a healing experience for them is very rewarding. Julie is a firm believer in using the technique that best suits the patient’s needs, condition, and comfort level. Julie is well versed in spinal manipulative therapy (Diversified, Thompson, Activator Methods, Flexion Distraction, etc.), contemporary medical acupuncture, dry needling, soft tissue techniques (cupping), and exercise rehabilitation in regular treatment. Julie’s care plans will typically include a combination of any of the above mentioned services.

Regular follow up appointment
The new patient exam is for patients who are new to the clinic or have not been seen in over a year. This will include a comprehensive history, physical exam and treatment.
