Kaelyn is an accredited music therapist and a qualifying psychotherapist completing her music psychotherapy internship through Wilfrid Laurier University. She is excited to be part of the Superior Therapy and Wellness team while completing her placement in her hometown of Thunder Bay.
Kaelyn has experience supporting individuals within the disability community, including neurodivergent children and youth with a range of mental health needs. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive approach, with a strong focus on creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic space.
Kaelyn offers an integrative approach that combines psychotherapy with music, tailored to each client’s comfort and preferences. Sessions may include traditional talk therapy, exploring emotional responses to music, songwriting, or creative expression through improvisation. No musical experience is required.
Kaelyn is currently accepting individual clients and will be offering select group sessions.

For families looking for support understanding and strengthening their child’s IEP. This service may include reviewing accommodations, regulation needs, social-emotional supports, communication needs, transitions, and advocacy questions for the school team. An initial assessment must be booked first so we can meet the child and parent/caregiver and better understand the child’s needs before providing recommendations.
One to one individual counselling session
Virtual Counselling Session.
This first appointment is used to meet the child and parent/caregiver, gather background information, and better understand the child’s strengths, needs, concerns, and goals for support. This appointment may be used before services such as IEP Review & Recommendations, parent consultation, child/youth counselling, school advocacy support, or other social work services.
A 10-week, 30 minute virtual class series including breathwork, gentle asanas, mindfulness, and yoga philosophy.
