AjouterKaitlyn is in her fourth and final year of advanced manual therapy education and is excited to welcome clients as she opens her practice to the public. She values the opportunity to gain experience in a clinical setting and, as a result, is offering treatments free of charge while she completes her studies.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Brock University and has more than 10 years of experience working as a paramedic, bringing a strong clinical foundation and a compassionate approach to her care. She also has a background in, and passion for, fitness and nutrition, embracing a whole-body approach to health.

Her treatments are based on a whole-body approach to health care, utilizing a combination of soft tissue release and articular techniques to put the body in the best possible state to assist in the resolution of a wide variety of symptoms and dysfunctions. She is excited to get experience as she completes her education, as a result she is offering treatments free of charge as these appointments should be considered more of a learning experience rather than a primary source of care for serious health concerns

During this appointment, an assessment and practice session will be completed drawing on principles of body mechanics and functional anatomy that Michaela has learned as part of her ongoing studies as a third-year student (not a qualified osteopathic manual practitioner). This free session is for educational/practice purposes and does not replace care from a healthcare professional.
