Karin (she/her) combines anatomical understanding with the varied techniques of massage therapy to help create positive, specific change for her patients in response to their goals.
A graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (New Westminster), Karin also has a Bachelor of Science (Biology) from the University of Alberta. Having a deep love of learning and sharing knowledge, she is happy to answer your questions and looks forward to being part of your health journey. Your appointment will include history-taking and assessment, hands-on treatment and discussion of home-care to extend the benefits of the massage.
Committed to offering affirming, client-centred care, Karin's massage practice is queer- and trans-friendly. She strives to offer unconditional positive regard, believing that each of her patients are individuals who must be approached without preconceptions.
Outside the clinic you’ll find her either: up to her elbows in dirt, devouring a novel, thinking about her next meal, or generally rejoicing in this good green planet. She dotes on her family and is grateful to be part of a wonderful community.
Karin acknowledges with respect that she works as an uninvited settler on the traditional, ancestral, unceded, stolen territory of the Semiahmoo people, who have a past, present and future relationship with this land. She is committed to listening to and learning from the stories and voices of Indigenous people towards the goal of truth and reconciliation.
