Karissa completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MScOT) at the University of Alberta and has experience working with children with developmental disabilities through her time at Adaptabilities and fine motor camps.
Her experience has allowed her to support children through fun meaningful activities that build fine motor skills, social participation and independence. Whether it's handwriting, self-care, big emotions, or sensory strategies, Karissa has your back! She is passionate about collaborating with families to help children grow their skills and confidence in a supportive, engaging way that meets every child where they are at.
In her free time Karissa likes to play sports, go to the gym and watch movies.
