Karli is known for her compassionate, client-centered approach and her ability to build strong relationships with youth who may be navigating complex emotional, social, and family circumstances.

Karli holds a Bachelor of Social Work. Her professional experience includes providing school-based counselling, mental wellness support, and crisis intervention for children and adolescents. Karli's areas of interest include youth mental health, emotional regulation, grief and loss, family conflict, body image concerns, and substance use. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), strengths-based practice, and trauma-informed care while also valuing culturally responsive and community-based approaches to healing. Outside of her professional work, Karli enjoys staying active, travelling, and continuing to learn about innovative ways to support youth mental wellness!

Your child does not need to be present during the call. *** This is a free 15 minute video call for our mental health services coordinator to gather initial background information about your child and family in order to match them up with the best counsellor for their needs. It also allows a chance for caregivers to ask questions and to go over our billing and booking processes. After booking, you will be sent a confirmation email, and then you will be sent another email with a link to join the video call one hour before your appointment. If you would prefer a phone call instead of a video appointment - please email counselling@childrenstherapycollective.com to let us know. Please note that this consultation call is not a counselling session or clinical assessment.
