Karlien Bester is originally from South Africa and now based in Canada since 2004. Her
passion for holistic health began with a fascination for how nutrition impacts well-being.
She believes wellness starts with addressing the root causes of health issues through
personalized nutrition strategies.
After completing her master’s studies in 2013 with first-class honors from the Edison
Institute of Nutrition (EIN), Karlien became particularly interested in the role of
antinutrients in our diets, which led her to write *"A Closer Look at Antinutrients in Food"*. Her
book explores how these compounds interact with nutrient absorption and overall health, covering
practical insights to help others make more informed dietary choices.
Her passion is to empower others to feel their best by providing sustainable solutions for
lasting vitality, whether they’re managing health conditions, balancing hormones, pursuing
athletic goals, or navigating life’s other challenges.
