As someone who is on the ADHD spectrum herself, and with over ten years of both practical and clinical experience supporting individuals with ADHD, Kate’s work is grounded in the belief that people do not need to be fixed, but supported in understanding how their brains work. ADHD is viewed as one of many ways a brain can function, with real challenges and meaningful strengths, and her focus is on helping clients work with their brains rather than against them.
Kate is trained in CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy, and views ADHD support—especially for youth—as a collaborative, family-involved process. Her work emphasizes practical strategies, education, and systems that align with how people naturally function.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time in the woods with her border collie, kayaking, camping, and traveling. She also volunteers with international relief and refugee support initiatives and serves as a social work emergency responder during natural disasters.
