Kate Jarvis is co-owner of Acadian Shores Health Centre and a registered physiotherapist with five years experience in a private setting. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) in 2017 and worked as a registered nurse before continuing on to complete her Masters of Sciences in Physiotherapy in 2019. She has completed additional training in pelvic floor physiotherapy, dry needling and pain management. Kate was born and raised in Argyle, NS and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves anything fitness and sports related.

Your first appointment includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms and goals, a thorough physical exam, and the development of a personalized treatment plan to guide your recovery. Please arrive 20 minutes before your appointment time if you are unable to fill out your intake form online.

With your consent, the physiotherapist may perform an internal and/or external pelvic exam to assess muscle function and identify any areas of weakness or tension. This helps guide a personalized treatment plan. All assessments are conducted in a private, respectful setting, and you are welcome to ask questions or decline any part of the exam at any time.
For current clients. Treatment sessions are guided by your personalized care plan and may include education, pelvic floor exercises, breathing techniques, manual therapy and strategies for daily activities.
