We welcome Kate Walker, RCC to the team.
Kate is a warm, empathetic counsellor who works with teens, and adults facing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, chronic pain, and relationship challenges. She takes an integrative, client-centred approach—drawing on both talk therapy and body-based techniques to support lasting healing and growth.
Kate incorporates tools for nervous system regulation and trauma recovery and is certified in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion, Narrative Therapy, CBT, and DBT. She is committed to helping clients feel empowered, supported, and more connected to themselves and others.

EMDR *does not* require talking about the distressing event in detail and helps to clear away limiting beliefs by processing the memory. EMDR tends to be quicker treatment than other methods of therapy. CVAP coverage may be used with a copy of the approval letter.
