This appointment is for patients that have been to the clinic before. If you are new to the clinic or have never seen one of our Physiotherapists, please book an Initial appointment. If you haven't been in for awhile and/or have a new injury which requires an assessment, this appointment will allow time for an assessment or re-assessment of the complaint, as well as treatment. This also allows for a longer timeframe for treatment of multiple complaints or injuries that are more complex. Please note that the fee for an extended visit or new injury appointment is higher than that of a regular appointment given the additional length of time allocated for the appointment. Pelvic health physiotherapy focuses on assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles. It includes an assessment of movement patterns and strength, as well as external and internal assessment of the function of pelvic floor muscles. The physiotherapist will provide education about the condition, and a personalized exercise program to improve pain and function. Pelvic health physiotherapy can be beneficial for adult males, females, and pregnant patients. Common conditions treated by pelvic health physiotherapy include urinary incontinence, vulvodynia/vestibulodynia, vaginissmus/dyspareunia, interstitial cystitis, non-bacterial prostatitis, pregnancy related pelvic pain, chronic low back or hip pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and chronic pelvic pain.

Tele-Health sessions can include, but are not limited to: - A video evaluation of a new or re-occurring injury - A review of imaging reports or images themselves - Modifying exercise programs or implementing new programs - Making suggestions for appropriate pain-relieving methods (when to ice/heat, certain positions of relief, resources to help with a current problem, etc).
