Katica is a registered massage therapist with 3000 hours of training from the Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy program at Makami College.
She adjusts massage treatments to each client according to one’s conditions and needs by combining various techniques such as relaxation massage (Swedish), deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, various therapeutic massage techniques, lymphatic drainage, joint mobilization, pre- and post-pregnancy massage, post surgery (works with scar tissue and helps with adhesions) and when needed instructs clients about stretching and strengthening exercises to do at home related to treatment plan. She helps clients with various issiues: MVA, (muscle) strains, TMJ disorder, different injuries and conditions related to sport activities, work and related to various health conditions.
She treats all ages from children to seniors.
She has a keen interest in learning new modalities and techniques to improve her knowledge and treatments for her clients.
When not working, she is busy with her pets, plants, volunteering at animal shelter (AARCS) and Calgary Zoo, hiking etc.
