**Areas of interest include:** I welcome clients with any musculoskeletal concerns, from head to toe. Whether you're seeking support for jaw (TMJ) pain, headaches, neck or back discomfort, or issues involving the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, or feet—I am here to help.
In addition, I have a strong clinical focus in **female pelvic health physiotherapy**, supporting individuals through all stages of life. I work with clients experiencing **pregnancy-related pain**, **postpartum recovery, birth prep, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and post-menopausal changes**. I also work with patients who are looking for pre-natal preventative pelvic floor physiotherapy and birth prep. My approach is always tailored, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based care.
I am certified in **Dry Needling (Levels 1 & 2**) and often incorporate this technique, along with manual therapy and exercise, to help reduce pain and improve function.
**About Katy:** Hello, I’m Katy—a dedicated physiotherapist and graduate of the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta.
My treatment style is holistic and collaborative, combining **therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and dry needling** to address your unique concerns. Whether you're dealing with musculoskeletal injuries or pelvic health issues, I aim to create a warm, safe, and supportive space where you feel truly heard and empowered in your care.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a wide range of clinical settings—from neurological rehabilitation at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital to private practice physiotherapy for injuries like low back pain, whiplash, ACL tears, and rotator cuff issues.
In addition to my practice at Park Integrative Health, I also work as a physiotherapist in the ICU at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and as a fitness instructor.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me playing soccer, out for a run, or exploring new food spots in Edmonton.
I look forward to helping you not only find short-term relief but also achieve long-term health and well-being—whether that’s through pelvic health support, pain management, or injury rehabilitation.

Infant Assessment is for anyone aged 1 and under. Most commonly, this would look like a torticollis and head shape exam. Other than this, pediatric appointments offer support and treatment to clients whose needs are uniquely "pediatric" in nature, such as motor development in infants and young children (think: learning to sit and roll, tummy time, developing running skills). It may also look like toe walking, or assisting children with cerebral palsy or other injuries that impact the way they move. In some cases, children have a brachial plexus injury (often from birth, but sometimes as a result of a viral illness or surgery) that requires physiotherapy intervention. Tia has experience in supporting pediatric patients with chronic pain. If this is the case, or if you were referred to Tia by the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital or the Stollery Children's Hospital, please let us know when you book this appointment.

Shockwave technology delivers strong energy pulses that are applied to the affected area for short periods of time. This stimulates cells in the body that are responsible for bone and connective tissue healing. In many instances, shockwave therapy treatments, have proven to be effective in cases where the human body has not been able to heal itself on its own. ***You can access this treatment as a stand alone treatment without physiotherapy, or you can ask that it be added on to your treatment with your provider***
