Kaylene is a University of British Columbia graduate with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Biology). She has always been passionate about helping others, and has many years of experience with patient care, building therapeutic relationships, and team collaboration in medical settings.
Kaylene’s passion for physiotherapy began while volunteering in the local community, including time at Peace Arch Hospital in senior care, general rehabilitation, acute day surgery, and exercise classes. Here she was inspired by the valuable role physiotherapists played in working one-on-one to help patients achieve their rehabilitation and active lifestyle goals. Kaylene is certified in the Mulligan Concept and is pursuing further credentials in orthopaedics and vestibular physiotherapy. She is certified to perform dry needling through Foundations Health Education.
Kaylene has experience in orthopaedics, community care, neurology, and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. She takes pride in connecting with her clients, building strong rapport, and developing personalized therapeutic treatment plans. She has a strong foundation in manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and patient education.
Always exemplifying a healthy and active lifestyle, Kaylene has hiked the Andes Mountains to Machu Picchu, explored the ruins of South East Asia, and climbed the castles of the United Kingdom. She loves spending time outdoors, hiking, paddle boarding, biking, kayaking, running, but never forgets to relax and enjoy a good book.
