A TMJ massage focuses on relieving pain and tension associated with the jaw. The muscles responsible for jaw movement often hold significant tension and can contribute to symptoms such as stiffness, clicking/ popping, reduced mobility and headaches. Massage therapy can help address TMJD discomfort by reducing muscular tension, reducing trigger points, and improving jaw mobility.
