Kim joined the team at Concept Physiotherapy in 2009 and became a clinic co-owner with Dawn in 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Victoria and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta.
Kim treats a wide range of clients—from children to seniors—and is passionate about helping people return to their daily, work, or recreational activities pain-free. Her treatment approach combines hands-on manual therapy with individualized, evidence-informed exercise programs. She focuses not only on resolving current issues but also on giving clients the tools to prevent future problems.
Kim is certified in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, which she integrates into treatment to help manage pain and support healing.
She has pursued extensive postgraduate education, including the year-long “Integrated Systems Model and Thoracic Ring Approach,” which focuses on identifying the primary driver of pain and dysfunction. This approach looks beyond isolated symptoms to discover how different areas of the body interact—and how seemingly unrelated issues may be linked.
Kim excels in helping clients understand the root cause of recurring or persistent problems and guiding them toward long-term recovery.
She has also continued her education in the ConnectTherapy™ approach—an advanced, whole-person assessment and treatment model that is transforming how physiotherapists assess and treat movement-related issues.
Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, making the most of the Okanagan lifestyle. Whether it’s hiking, biking, skiing, she loves being outdoors and staying active with her family.
