Kirsty has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2004. She completed her 3000 hours of training at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and received her B.Sc. in Kinesiology in 1998.
With her strong foundation in human anatomy and exercise physiology, Kirsty has worked as a fitness instructor, personal trainer, educator and workshop facilitator.
Recognizing that the body and mind work together to maintain balance, Kirsty believes that massage therapy can help to remove any blocks that may compromise the "whole system". Her special interests include myofascial release and passive stretch techniques. She also offers special instruction on movement therapies including the Pilates method.
