Kostya brings a unique combination of clinical expertise and systems thinking to osteopathic care — shaped by over 25 years in electrical engineering and rigorous training at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.
A graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (MOMSC — Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences, 4,200+ hours), Kostya approaches every patient with the same philosophy: find the root cause, not just the symptom. His whole-body assessments look for the structural restrictions and compensatory patterns driving pain and reduced mobility, whether in a desk worker with chronic back pain, a senior managing arthritis, an athlete recovering from overuse injury, or a pregnant woman seeking relief from pelvic discomfort.
Kostya has a personal martial arts background spanning wrestling, karate, and aikido, and works extensively with boxers, fighters, and rock climbers alongside his general patient population. His treatment toolkit includes soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, osteopathy in the cranial field, and visceral manipulation — adapted to each patient's individual needs and comfort level.
