Kristen decided at a young age that she wanted to become a physiotherapist and her passion for the profession is undeniable. She is proud to be providing an unparalleled skill set developed over the past 13 years to this community.
In addition to managing orthopaedic conditions and post operative rehab, Kristen has additional training and experience treating paediatrics, individuals with neurological deficits/conditions and those undergoing treatment/care for cancer.
After graduating with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2009, Kristen gained extraordinary exposure to clinical care at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto Rehab Institute and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. As a passionate teacher and advocate for oncology rehab, she has developed oncology modules and course materials for the University of Toronto Physiotherapy program. She was also published in Physiotherapy Canada. She is enthusiastic about knowledge translation and life-long learning and has presented at various symposiums. Of note, in 2019, she was invited to present her work with Falls Prevention at the International Safety Conference in Glasgow, UK.
Kristen is also proud to serve as a director on the Cornwall Community Hospital Board of Directors and as Vice Chair on the CCH Quality Performance and Monitoring Committee. She holds a director position on the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce as well.
