Kristina is a passionate registered acupuncturist whose interest in holistic wellness spans nearly two decades. Inspired by her travels, her own path to optimal health, and her love for culture and diversity, Kristina ultimately chose to focus her career on building and maintaining wellness and longevity through Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her practice is inspired by the Ngui family, whom she recently completed an internship with in Toronto, studying under a 24-generation lineage of Chinese medicine masters.
Kristina feels that Holistic medicine should entail a multi-faceted approach, with consideration of physical, mental, emotional, social and environmental factors. Her practice focuses on achieving the ultimate wellness and harmony of body, mind, and spirit. She believes that healing happens in waves, and she adapts her approach to meet each client where they are. Kristina utilizes a variety of tools in her practice, such as acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, energy management, movement, chinese food therapy and herbs.
Ultimately, Kristina believes that the body holds the innate wisdom to heal itself. Her goal is to educate and empower you to take charge of your health. She thrives on working alongside each individual to achieve their wellness goals, and is always happy to be a part of your team, collaborating with your chosen practitioners to help you reach optimal health. Kristina resides in beautiful Whistler, where she experiences the teachings of nature daily. Much of Chinese medicine philosophy is based on observation of the natural world, and her heart is most at peace when she is in nature, surrounded by family, friends and community. Community Acupuncture is an affordable and accessible way to experience the benefits of acupuncture in a supportive community setting. Treatments are 30-minute focused sessions in a private room designed to help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, support recovery, improve sleep, and promote overall wellbeing. Whether you're new to acupuncture or looking for ongoing support, these monthly sessions offer a restorative reset at an introductory rate of $50 per treatment. Please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any outstanding forms and settle into your treatment.
