Traditional acupuncture using common points mainly found in the arms, legs, head and at times abdomen. This acupuncture session is designed to restore balance in the system, relieve pain, and calm the nervous system. This can be used to alleviate symptoms associated with the menstrual cycle, including pain and irregularities. Ideal for any time preconception to postpartum, and for anyone wanting to support their pelvic floor or menstrual cycle.

Acupuncture for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and fertility support (preconception). An excellent treatment for someone with a busy schedule. If your midwife or doctor has referred you please let your acupuncturist know the reason for referral. Some conditions that may be relieved include feelings of stress and overwhelm, breech baby or posterior (OP) position, nausea, heartburn, fatigue, iron deficiency, body aches or pain. Birth and labour preparation treatments or cervical ripening may also be offered. This treatment may also be ideal for mothers experiencing postpartum anxiety or depression, early-stage mastitis, blocked ducts, or low milk supply, incontinence, cesarean recovery, or insomnia.

Select this option if this is your first session, or if it has been over a year since your last treatment. This treatment involves a detailed health assessment, acupuncture treatment and may also include moxibustion, acupressure, and lifestyle advice. This session is approximately 90 minutes in length.

This session may run anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes, depending on the child's age and comfort level. Shonishin - “Childrens’ Needle” a gentle treatment for little ones. Using a combination of therapies including gentle, non-insertive methods such as teishin, diodes, acupressure, press tack stickers, and moxibustion. If the child is ready for acupuncture, we can also offer a gentle introduction, building on the treatment slowly each session according to their comfort level.
