With over 15 years of social service and criminal justice experience, I appreciate the complexities and diversity that each of us bring to therapy. I seek to create an environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration and growth as we navigate your unique circumstances.
My therapeutic style is client-centered and solutions-focused, drawing from evidenced-based and trauma-informed practices that honour the entirety of an individual and their lived experiences. My modalities of practice include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, and member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). I am a passionate advocate with experience navigating mood disorders, illness/diagnoses, end-of-life support, grief and bereavement, substance use, anxiety, trauma/PTSD interventions for first responders, incarceration, family mediation, bariatrics and transitions throughout the lifespan.
Throughout our sessions together, we will strive to create a healing and meaningful path forward through dialogue, feedback and transparency. I look forward to sharing this journey with you!
