Kym was born and raised in Victoria and currently resides on the Saanich Peninsula with her young family. She completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Victoria prior to receiving her Master’s of Physical Therapy at UBC in 2015. She has been practicing as an orthopaedic physiotherapist since graduating and has a keen interest in working with the aging population. She is passionate about providing evidence based and individualized treatment to optimize her patient’s quality of life. Kym has specialized training in: vestibular physiotherapy, IMS, concussion management, whiplash management, manual therapy, pain science, Parkinson's Disease, senior’s care and falls. The most fulfilling aspect of her job is forming personal connections with her patients and advocating for their healthcare needs.

A longer session focused on multiple treatment techniques and modalities, followed by therapeutic exercise.
This 60 minute, one-on-one session will include a thorough history and physical assessment. The appointment will then include individualized hands-on treatment and development of a plan going forward. We recommend booking two subsequents visits in the two weeks following your assessment, one each week. They can be cancelled if deemed unnecessary.
Shockwave treatment only.
Initial physiotherapy assessment combined with the first shockwave treatment.
Subsequent physiotherapy visit including shockwave treatment.
An Initial Telehealth assessment will include a thorough history and detailed analysis of posture, environment, and movement. Findings from the assessment will then be used to create a treatment plan consisting of education, management strategies, and exercise.
