I have recently landed in the beautiful Comox Valley after 10 years in Vancouver following a move from my hometown Montreal. I have a master’s degree in psychiatric research and worked for several years on various research projects in psychiatric hospitals. I decided to return to school at the tender age of 38 to pursue massage therapy as I was itching to get out of a seated position in front of the computer and wanted to feel the tangible results of my work.
I am a very active person and understand the challenges of being injured and not being able to do what we love. I am passionate about helping people recover from sports injuries. In addition, I have worked with numerous individuals experiencing low back pain, osteoarthritis, frozen shoulders and tension headaches. I am also trained in the use of stainless tools (IATSM – Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) to reduce chronic scar tissue.
I can also provide a deeply relaxing and soothing massage if that is what you are looking for. The time spent on the massage table is for you!
When I am not working, I am either on my mountain bike, skiing in the mountains, cooking or reading a good book alongside my dog Lucy.

Relaxation Massage with our Massage Apprentice. Susana is currently finishing up her Massage Therapy Diploma and is waiting to write her board exams. Your booking will include an assessment, massage treatment and home-care. The total time of your appointment is 60 minutes. Please note: Our Student Massage Apprentice is not yet registered and therefore this treatment CAN NOT be submitted to any insurance providers.
For all the pregnant mama to be's. We offer you the comfort of a pregnancy pillow which allows you to lay safely on your stomach for treatment. We also have electric tables which allows ease getting on and off the table for your treatment.
