Laura is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She grew up participating in competitive gymnastics and competed in the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Ontario Provincial Championships. Her athletic background fostered a deep appreciation for movement and gave her firsthand insight into the physical and emotional challenges that can accompany injury. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career in physiotherapy, where she could help others return to the activities that matter most to them.

Laura completed her undergraduate education at the University of Guelph-Humber, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology along with a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. She later pursued her physiotherapy education in the United Kingdom, graduating with a Postgraduate Diploma in Physiotherapy from Leeds Beckett University.
Throughout her education and clinical practice, Laura gained experience working within the United Kingdom's National Health Service (NHS) and in Ontario private practice. She has worked with a diverse range of clients, from active individuals to older adults, treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Laura believes in providing individualized, evidence-informed care that is tailored to each person's goals. Her treatment approach combines exercise, manual therapy, cupping, and education to encourage active participation with recovery.

This follow-up session focuses on hands-on treatment techniques used by your Naturopathic Doctor to support healing, mobility, and relaxation. Treatment may include soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations, cupping, acupuncture, or other therapeutic modalities based on your needs and treatment plan. Ideal for ongoing care, maintenance, or addressing specific areas of concern following your initial assessment.

This is your follow-up treatment and continuation of care with treatment of shockwave therapy set out by you and your physiotherapist. Therapy includes, but is not limited to, soft tissue therapy, mobilizations, acupuncture, and rehabilitation.
Your pelvic health physiotherapist will take your full medical history and thoroughly discuss your current problems and symptoms. With informed consent, your pelvic floor physiotherapist will perform a complete physical assessment. This may include internal and external examinations to identify the affected tissues that may be contributing to your symptoms. Your pelvic health physiotherapist will then put together a plan of care that is specific to your particular goals, symptoms and dysfunction.
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment performed by a physiotherapist or chiropractor, and it uses high pressure energy to promote regeneration and reparative processes of bones, tendons and other soft tissues.
