AjouterLauren is a Registered Clinical Counsellor specializing in Child and Youth Mental Health. She creates a warm, welcoming space where children can express their feelings, build confidence, and work through challenges using the natural language of play.
Her child-centred and developmentally appropriate approach helps children strengthen emotional awareness, develop practical coping skills, and grow at a pace that feels safe and comfortable. Lauren also works closely with parents and caregivers to better understand their child’s needs and support meaningful progress beyond the therapy room.

In addition to her counselling work, Lauren is a private swim instructor with experience supporting neurodivergent children. This unique background has strengthened her ability to connect with children of different abilities, communication styles, and sensory needs through patience, creativity, and individualized support.

**An initial parent consultation is required prior to scheduling child or youth sessions. This meeting allows the clinician to gather relevant developmental, family, educational, and medical information, and to understand the parent’s concerns and goals for therapy. Information collected during this session helps guide assessment, treatment planning, and ensures sessions are tailored to the child or youth’s needs.
