Lawrence graduated from VCMT where he obtained his diploma with honors in Massage Therapy. His interest in the health sciences originated from his experience with injury and rehabilitation in competitive sports.
Lawrence grew up playing basketball, soccer and combat sports such as kickboxing. With his experience in injury and rehabilitation he became fascinated by the use of soft tissue manipulation creating a better overall wellness of the human body and mind. This inspired Lawrence to pursue a career helping and caring for others with therapeutic touch as well as providing an opportunity for focused education about exercise and body awareness.
Lawrence believes that massage therapy is beneficial in improving the function of human movement as well as reducing pain and stress intensity by helping stimulate the limbic system and the production of endorphins.
