Leasa Stanley
SaveLeasa graduated from Dalhousie University’s physiotherapy program in Halifax in 2000. She began her physiotherapy career in Nova Scotia, where she practised for seven years before moving to Alberta. In 2019, she joined Global Physiotherapy, bringing with her nearly two decades of experience.
She has extensive clinical expertise treating a wide spectrum of conditions, including whiplash (WAD), sprains and strains, sports injuries, arthritis, torticollis, TMJ dysfunction, repetitive strain injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation.

In her practice, Leasa treats musculoskeletal conditions across the lifespan, with an emphasis on detailed assessment and individualized treatment planning. To optimize outcomes, she integrates manual and manipulative therapy, Gunn IMS for neuropathic pain, k-taping, blood flow restriction therapy, exercise prescription, patient education, and therapeutic modalities. She is committed to delivering one-to-one, evidence-based care and developing customized exercise programs aligned with each patient’s functional goals.
Outside of her practice, Leasa loves spending time with her horse, Kami. She also values staying active through yoga and strength training. Most of all, she treasures time with her husband and her grown sons.
