Liam Walker, PT
SaveLiam is a Physiotherapist originally from Toronto, Ontario. He completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours Specialization) in Kinesiology at Western University, followed by his Master of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University.
Liam takes a well-rounded, individualized approach to care, combining manual therapy, dry needling, acupuncture, targeted exercise, therapeutic modalities, mindfulness, and patient education to reduce pain, restore function, and help patients confidently return to the activities they enjoy.

With a background in competitive hockey and soccer, as well as experience as a hockey skills coach, Liam has a strong interest in sports injuries, performance-based rehab, and supporting active individuals of all ages and abilities.
Outside the clinic, Liam enjoys recreational sports, exploring Halifax’s trails with his Golden Retriever Goose, and spending summer weekends on the golf course.

Your first visit is all about understanding you. During this comprehensive 60-minute session, your physiotherapist will take a deep dive into your medical history, current symptoms, and movement patterns to get to the root of your issue — not just treat the surface. You’ll receive a full assessment, including hands-on testing, postural and movement analysis, and goal setting. From there, we’ll begin treatment right away, which may include manual therapy, dry needling, corrective exercise, and education tailored specifically to your needs. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a clear diagnosis, a personalized treatment plan, and exercises to start your recovery journey with confidence.

Your follow-up session will build on your personalized treatment plan to support your recovery and movement goals. This visit may include hands-on treatment, guided exercises, movement education, and targeted modalities as needed (dry-needling, laser therapy, etc).
