After finishing her undergraduate studies, Lily continued to pursue further education in the field of healthcare, and obtained her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Post graduation, Lily has taken numerous continuing education courses focusing on a wide variety of topics including the low back, lower limbs, neck, and shoulder. She is certified in assessing and treating various vestibular conditions (dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, etc.). She is also excited to add acupuncture and dry needling as a treatment option for suitable patients. She is a proud member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Sports Canada BC, Sport Physiotherapy Canada, and the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. She is able to speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and basic French. Lily believes in providing a comprehensive treatment for her patients which may include a combination of electrotherapy modalities (TENS, ultrasound, laser therapy), education, hands-on manual therapy, and an individualized exercise program. In the private clinic setting, she has treated mostly sports related injuries, work related injuries, and motor vehicle accidents related injuries and vestibular conditions. She aims to decrease her patients’ level of pain, improve their movement patterns, increase their quantity of movements, improve their strength, and allow them to achieve optimal function
