I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 14 years. During this time, I have worked for several Dentists and Specialists including Periodontists and Orthodontists. I have enjoyed learning about all aspects of dental care. Throughout this time, I have also come to understand and appreciate how important one's oral health is and how it impacts overall health and wellness. There is a direct link between one's oral health and many common diseases affecting people today. It has become my passion to share this vital information with my patients. It is critical to have regular dental hygiene appointments to achieve optimal oral health. Throughout my career I have provided care to many individuals from children to adults. This experience has allowed me to understand and appreciate that each and everyone's needs are different, therefore a customized hygiene routine and home care plan is required. With a thorough assessment and dental hygiene exam I will provide patients with treatment plan recommendations to suit their individual needs.
I decided to begin practicing as an Independent Dental Hygienist because I am confident that with my experience I can deliver the best care to my patients. Routine dental hygiene appointments can be comfortable, quick and easy. Having worked with several Dentists and Specialists has provided me with the knowledge to properly assess and refer patients if needed and treat others in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Initial Assessment + Whitening Treatment - Complete Dental Hygiene Examination conducted prior to treatment to assess oral health and conditions which may affect whitening results - Must be 18+ - Please fill out intake forms as there are some contraindications for getting the teeth whitening treatment (EG: Pregnant or breast feeding) - Recommended to use Sensodyne Toothpaste 7-10 days before booking to decrease sensitivity after treatment - Treatment includes complete dental hygiene examination and 3-4 15 minute LED light whitening sessions - Follow up session may be needed to obtained desired shade (if you start on the yellower end)
